Simulate Forward Accrual

Once the leave policies have been created they can be tested before being assigned to the users. This page can simulate any leave policy against any user to check if the leave balances are calculated correctly. If the leave balances are calculated correctly then the leave policies can be attached the leave types and users. Click on the icon on the upper right side of the screen.

Leave Settings > Estimated Leave Balance

Select the user from the dropdown.
Select the leave policy for the drop down to be tested.
Select the start and end dates. These date will be the period that the leave policy will be tested against and the leave balances calculated shown for the user.
Click “Submit” to see the results in the below screenshot.

The “Leave Policy Details” will display a summary of the leave policy selected.
The “Accrual & Adjustments” for the user will be displayed.
The “Balance” column will display the balance for the user.
